Former US president and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gave his first reaction to his opponent Kamala Harris picking Minnesota Guv Tim Walz as her running mate and said it was a shocking decision. In an interview on Fox & Friends Wednesday morning, Trump said it was an insult to the Jewish people. “He’s (Tim Walz) a smarter version of her (Kamala Harris) if you want to know the truth.He is probably the same as Bernie Sanders…there has never been a ticket like this,” Trump said.
“This is a ticket that would want this county to go communist immediately if not sooner … he’s very heavy into transgender. Anything transgender he thinks is great … I think it’s very insulting to Jewish people,” Donald Trump said.

Trump said he’s not a great fan of Josh Shapiro either but all the people she was looking at for her VP pick are better than her, Trump said.
Trump said he can’t believe that Tim Walz has been picked as the VP candidate by Kamala Harris. Speaking about his interaction with Tim Walz during the BLM protest in 2020, Trump said he helped him at that time. “He called me and he was very very concerned at that time. He said he wanted me to put out a word that he (Tim Walz) is a good person. I did that. Then he called me back and thanked me… That’s the only thing I ever had to do with him. He is a very liberal man. It’s a shocking pick and I could not be more thrilled,” Trump said.
